A graduate of the Ph.D. program of the University of California, Berkeley, Kiersten’s interdisciplinary work brings together approaches from the fields of assyriology, archaeology, anthropology, and more. Her research examines the Neo-Assyrian temples as a ritual space and its connection to man-made environment and materiality.
