You and your sleep coach will work together to adapt sleep treatment to your needs.

You’ll talk about your sleep habits, your history of sleep problems, and work on strategies for improving your sleep and problem-solving around any barriers to good sleep in your environment.

Any kind of sleep problems! We have experience helping people who are having trouble sleeping, sleeping more than they’d like to be, finding themselves sleeping at hours that don’t work for their lives, etc.

Some people are randomly assigned to receive treatment right away, and some are assigned to get it after a short delay. This allows us to make sure everyone gets sleep treatment, but still make sure that sleep treatment effects are not happening simply due to the passage of time. This way, we can make sure that everyone receives treatment eventually.

The sleep treatment does not include any medication, nor do we make any recommendations for changing medication. We recommend you talk to your physician about any medication concerns.

You do not have to stop drinking caffeinated beverages to participate in the sleep treatment. Your Sleep Therapist may talk to you about caffeine and provide suggestions that may be helpful for your sleep.

We want to make sure that you know your rights and fully understand what you’re signing up for when you join sleep coaching. We’ll walk you through the consent form step-by-step and are happy to answer any questions you might have.
