Reject pictures - Vernal pools at Jepson Prairie Preserve       June 1, 2006

Unfortunately, my camera has a limited focusing distance, and is not very good at capturing details of flowers and salamanders.

This was, perhaps, a Downingia, or maybe a beetle.

This was certainly a flower, maybe a white phlox.

And this was some of that lovely prairie grass.

This was a salamander in a box.

This was also a salamander.

And so was this. Oh well!
