2 months ago, as sophomore Brian Alger was signing up for classes, he checked his schedule only to find out that he was required to take a chemistry lab which would be taking place at 8 AM.
Though it had been almost two years since Alger had woken up at 7 AM for classes at his high school, Fisher reasoned that he would be able to manage, since he had done it for four years.

Mulling over his options, and believing that if he had morning classes, he could use the time to be productive in the afternoons, Alger decided to take a chance and sign up for the waitlist for his 8 AM morning class.
On Tuesday night, Alger set six alarms on his phone and got ready for his chemistry lecture.
The following morning, it wasn’t until the 4th alarm sounded and Alger’s roommate hit him multiple times over the stomach with his own pillow that Alger realize what time it was and hurriedly got dressed for class, then deciding that he wasn’t here to impress anyone, just ran out in his pajamas.
A homeless man reportedly felt so bad for Alger staggering sleepily on his way to school that he bought him a cup of coffee.
Upon arriving to the classroom at 7:55 AM, Alger found only a couple of students shivering in their hoodies in various stages of hypothermia as the AC was solidly turned to the temperature of northern Westeros.
Though Alger was 187th on the waitlist in a class of 80, Alger managed to get a seat in the class as he was one of the few that bothered to get up on time.
Though Alger was rejuvenated by his coffee, he managed to make it through roll call before settling in for a nice nap and missing the entire class.
