Dear Carrot,

Long time no see!!!  I am so happy to see that you are doing well.  Boy,
you sure have grown up since I saw you last.  I knew you were a special but
I had no idea how famous you would become.  I am a little hurt that you did
not tell Brian about me or the other members of your family.  Anyway, let me
get you up to date:

Your birth mother, Cleosobby, is still living in Corona.  She has since
undergone an operation so she can no longer bear children.  I saw her last
weekend and she is doing great and sends her love.

As you probably have heard, we never found Chuck.  Jake passed on last
year.  He was living in a retirement home in Dewey, Arizona.  He never
quite recovered from Chuck's catnapping.  Betty ran away from home and
never returned.  I am sure she is doing well, she was tough little cookie.

You have a stepbrother.. His name is Buddy (looks a lot like Chuck).  He
is very nice and would love to meet you.

Well Carrot Cat.. I am sooo glad you have become a success and I hope to
