COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Homework Assignments (30%): Due daily.

(3) Exam #2 on Chapters 4-6 (20%): July 3.
(4) Exam #3 on Chapters 7-10 (30%): July 12.

Exams will contain problems similar to those given for homework.

Make-up Work: Late homework is not accepted. Make-up exams generally will not be given. If you know you must be absent on one of the scheduled exam dates you should arrange this with me well in advance. No work of any kind will be accepted after the final exam date.

Attendance: Attendance is expected. Quality class participation and an excellent attendance record may be used to resolve borderline cases. Absences beyond one will result in penalties to your grade. If you arrive after I have completed taking attendance, you receive ½ of an absence for that day.

Drop Policy: The college has determined that the last day to drop with a "W" is July 9. I will only add students who are present on the first day of class, and only if space permits.

Academic Honesty: I assume you are familiar with the College's policies on Academic Honesty. I consider it my responsibility in cases of academic dishonesty to respond with the most severe penalty.

Students with disabilities: Students with disabilities who may need accommodations for any sort of disability are invited to make an appointment to see me.
