Congrats on finding the web puzzle. I am so very proud of you!
This is a browser-based puzzle where you'll navigate through the levels by changing the URL. Notice how the URL to this page ends in "index.html",
index is technchically the password to this page, and to get to the next stage, you'll replace "index" with the password revealed on this page.
Each stage will contain a puzzle that reveals the code word to the next stage. Every password will be full lowercase with no spaces or symbols, though there may be numbers.
If a password has any captial letters, symbols, or spaces, you can ignore them.
Say the password is "Hello World". You should enter it as "helloworld".
To access the next stage, your new URL would be https://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~caitriona/helloworld.html.
Each stage can be accessed by a link in this format https://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~caitriona/[password].html.
It's your job to work as a pledge class to find these hints and reach the end of the web puzzle.
Each week, one member of your PC can ask me for a hint. A new pledge must ask for the hint each time-- no repeats! The hint "timer" is reset during each meeting.
This means that you may ask for a single hint between the end of meeting of the preceding week and the start of meeting of the following week. Your hints do not
roll over if you did not use them in the previous week. If at any point you feel this is unreasonably difficult or have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me, Cate :)
Have fun playing.
Here's your first clue: what's 9 + 10?
