I decided to join CHE because I felt like the majority of the pre-med community at Cal was not representative of how I saw medicine. After speaking with CHE members that were tabling I felt the Latinx representation that I could not find in other organizations. Their energy was so inviting.
What I do as a public relations intern: Prep and conduct your own AJUA, reach out to surrounding Latinx organizations to collaborate + caucus.
