ABOUT CALGeT
The Cal Green Environment Team (CALGeT) is a staff sustainability group in Physical Plant-Campus Services (PP-CS), a departmnet within the Facilities Division. CALGeT offers advice and leadership to create and advocate sustainability practices and programs within Facilities Services and the UC Berkeley campus. Green operational practices help the campus reduce its use of energy and natural resources, save money, and provide a healthier learning and working environment for everyone.
CALGeT is involved with projects that relate to:
- Energy Conservation
- Green Purchasing
- LEED Certifcation
- Campus & Staff Outreach
- Waste Minimization
- Water Conservation

Our members represent the different units within PP-CS: Operations; Custodial, Grounds and Environmental Services; Procurement, Contracts & Storehouse; and Sustainability & Engineering Services. Our current members are:
