The other note is that I would expect as a practical matter most people to
decide to live either in some kind of functional capitalist minarchy or in
communes, with a few off-the-grid hermits or "armadillos" (to use Vinge's
earlier-mentioned term).
In fact, as a personal matter, I'm not too displeased with the present
political framework of the United States, _if_ it were much more strictly
constitutionally circumscribed, and if it were voluntary.
