angel: Tess has seen one thing which was angelic ... gave him a feeling
of peace ... it was a giant ivory skinned humanoid with wings and a mace,
the demons shied away from it. He was overawed.

baatezu: members of the Harmonium, basically lawful demons

beholder and giant beholder: nasty things with many eyes. Some eyes nullify
magic. Other eyes can turn people to stone and hurt people and disintegrate
stuff. What else?

behir: breathes lightning, has many legs. It's scales are useful for protection
from lightning.

brown mold: grows rapidly with heat. Destroyed by sunlight. Cold stops
it growing.

centaur-sheep: members of the Harmonium in the City

demi-lich: can be damaged by sword of sharpness, forget, dispel evil, shatter,
paladin with +4 weapon, holy sword. Remains must be immersed in holy water
to destroy them, then a dispel magic must be cast.

dragon, swamp: there is a powerful dragon in a swamp which can't be killed

dragons: highly dangerous in Sodjerfjord and Northern Reaches in general,
possible different from other dragons found elsewhere

elves: The Elves left the Sylvan realm 2000 years ago and came to here.
They left because they were under attack by orcs and humanoids, and travelled
by the Rainbow Bridge. They arrived on the great plain of Darokin and the
Elven tree keepers made a forest. The Elves were created magically.

Emerondians: a plant-like race in Davinia. They had one piece of the
Sundered Man. Not active at night time. There are some barbarian orcs and
humans in this area, which is mostly jungle. They speak a language similar
to the word emerald.

enduks: minotaurs with wings who worship Idu and live near Nimmuria(?). They
intend to attack Nimmur at some stage and take it from the man-scorpions.

genie: we used a wish from a genie to return Safranna to life from undead.

giants: passionately hated by people from the Northern Reaches, and those
religions ... some used to/do worship Alphaks ... theory is that Glantrians
were giants who lost in a big war which destroyed the Alphatian home system
... the Alphatians are also refugees from there

leprachaun: if offers you 3 wishes don't accept a fourth, apparently if
you catch it afterwards you can get life improved after the wishes reverse
...

lich: powerful spellcasting undead. Need magical weapons, holy water and
spells to hurt.

lizard-mounts: some demons ride lizard-like creatures

man-scorpions: live in Nimmuria, quite powerful.

night walker aka night giant: black giants twenty foot tall. They can kill
someone with a single word and putrefy all liquids in their presence. Both
Night Giants we have encountered were sent by the same deity. The night
giants work for someone, possibly Alpaks.

nymph: a faerie creature. Viewing a nymph can cause blindness. Unclear
whether this effect is limited to males. Females bathing in a pool frequented
by a nymph gain a brief aura which increases their attractiveness for a time.

pegasi: a pegasus is the symbol of Freya. Thora helped cure the sleeping
sickness of the pegasi. Said we could go back and visit them, but not the
bad one in the flying ship - who were they referring to?

pegotaurs: enter Roland. They're in Serraine, have paladins, and are often
harsh judges in Serraine. The paladins frown upon the use of poison and
deception. The pegotaurs were created magically.

purple worm: usually found underground. Has a big tail and stinger. 30
foot long. Swallowed Roland whole after biting off his arm.

tenarii: chaotic demons.

turtle, giant: a giant turtle which Alpaks woke up and told to go and eat
us

vampire: undead. Can charm people with their eyes. Can create other vampires
by draining their blood. Some can tolerate sunlight. Some can talk to and
summon animals. Some can become faerie invisible. What else can Vasilev
do? What about Morphail?
