A Summary of the Mortal Wars from 1013 Onwards

Alphatia and Glantri attacked each other over mutual assassinations (a
general of Alphatia, lover of the empress; Glantrian diplomats) ... have
been at knife's edge for years. The Alphatians were the ones who declared
war.

Heldanic Knights jumped on the band wagon, declaring war on Alphatia (note
hence forth the Heldanic Knights basically refers to the Heldanic Freeholds)

Northern Reaches privateers have been fighting for both sides

Thyatis also declared war on Alphatia after Alphatia declared war on Glantri
(three months into the war)

Alphatia released summoned creatures on Glantri, keeping them busy and
pinned down

Hule swept through country west of Sind, and also attacked the Savage Baronies

rumours that an Elvish spy at the Glantrian court started the whole Glantri-Alphatian

Hule attacked Darokin, taking a serious toll, before allied armies helped
Darokin push it back to protect their own economies

rock: a large rock from the sky fell on Glantri and wiped out a province
of elves and humans. Not friendly. Causing major havok with agriculture
in Glantri and Darokin due to dust clouds. The main crater was 64 miles
in diameter. There were several smaller ones. Part of Akorros collapsed.
Someone broke the rule to make the rock fell. Destroyed two Glantrian principalities.
The Alfheim Elves avoided the worst of the dust, but the Tree Keepers were
very tired as a result.

Thyatians looked like they might attack Oceansend, fleet was sent down

Alphatian assault is two-pronged: over land on the Isle of Dawn, and a
naval battle ... mostly skirmishes at this stage.

Glantrians vow to find against Alphatia to the last wizard. They had wanted
a ceasefire before the rock fell, which Boelle - head priest of Morgan -
was trying to arrange.

War appears smaller than expected at this stage.

No path is open to Tess which doesn't cause more destruction in the coming
war according to Charastra. Both sides will survive.

Redstone Castle, the main base of the Thyatians on the Isle of Dawn, is
under siege by the Alphatians. Northern Reaches raiders are being employed
by both sides. The Alphatians had a silver dragon and rider on their side.

Ethengarians swept down into the Northern Reaches, as far as the northern
edge of Sodjerford (Backwater), and were then pushed back into Norvick.
Jarl offered us the cup from his own lips for helping.

Thyatians have lost main base in Isle of Dawn and the Alphatian war machine
is rolling onwards

Humanoids in Broken Lands run off to Coringlain to impale themselves on
the adventurers weapons. Attacking both Glantri and Darokin. The orcs
underground are also on the move.
