As far as filler CDs go, Evangelion Addition ain't bad. In fact, it's surprisingly good.

The strength of the CD rests in the drama track (track 2). It takes a look at the cast of Evangelion working desperately to pump up their show's ratings. The cast tries nearly every cliche from anime: "sentai" teams (e.g. Power Rangers), transforming Evangelions, talking animals (Penpen speaks!), and even singing (remember Macross?). It's all done in jest and damned funny. Matthew Grimes has graciously provided the translations for the entire track.

Other noteworthy points of the CD are the full opening and closing themes sung by the voice actors for Misato, Rei and Asuka. Although they can't sing that well (it's probably because they're singing with their character's voice), their version of the songs are interesting to listen to.
