Hello! My name is Evelyn Riley, and I am the HMAP Program Coordinator for the 2020-2021 academic year. I am a fourth-year double majoring in Public Health and Global Studies. I have been a part of HMAP for the past four semesters, serving as both a Teaching Assistants and Assistant Coordinator for Public Health 116. HMAP is a unique space for students by students that allows us to center our experiences and relate them to the broader topics within public health. For me, this program has allowed me to explore career interests outside of the clinical world. It has also shown me that my passion lies in addressing health inequities among Latinx, LGBTQ, and youth. If you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to reach out!
Hey! I’m David Kwon, and I’m the HMAP External Director. I’m a fourth-year majoring in Economics. I’ve been a part of HMAP for the past two semesters, previously serving as a Teaching Assistant for Public Health 116. Externally, I love learning about new technology and watching food videos. Despite the diversity of people and opinions, people in HMAP are kind, compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful. I’m super gratified and humbled to be a part of this organization!
