Upcoming clinics are hosted with our partner, the South Asian Heart Center, a non-profit founded in 2006, with a mission to reduce the high incidence of diabetes and heart attacks in Indians and others part of the Indian subcontinent. We partner with the South Asian Heart Center (SAHC) located in Mountain View, CA. Our members receive references for an internship at the SAHC and priority to volunteer at in-person clinics once they resume. We are conducting virtual guest speaker events throughout the year with medical school students and physicians. We also present at events and conferences to raise awareness of the cardiovascular epidemic in the South Asian population. We hope that this year will be an opportunity to expand Jeeva’s impact while continuing to work towards our mission.
