The James Joyce Working Group meets weekly for lively reading, discussion and exegesis of Joyce's final opus Finnegans Wake. The group also hosts colloquia and lectures on Joyce during the academic year. Our members are a diverse group from U.C. Berkeley and the surrounding community, with new members always welcome; nothing is required but a copy of the Wake and your curiosity. Meetings for the fall 2012 semester will take place Wednesday evenings, starting September 5th, from 5:30 to 7:00 in room 306, Wheeler Hall. [Map]

We are sponsored by the Townsend Center for the Humanities. For more information about the group or this website, please contact Jocelyn Rodal or Rasheed Tazudeen.
