Behold the power of nature...bastardized by capitalist ventures and turned into a border-town outpost akin to Primm, NV. Niagra Falls, ON, just over the border from Niagra Falls, NY, is largely a 5-block stretch of casinos & hotels which surround the main natural attraction: the heaps of falling water of the Niagra River.

There are actually two waterfalls: the so-called American Falls (presumably, this is so named because of its geographical location within the USA's borders), and the Horseshoe/Canadian Falls (shaped like a horseshoe). Sure, we all have seen pictures of them during the daytime, so the fun part was seeing how they were illuminated at night.

On the Canadian side of the shore, there's this set of floodlights aimed right at the waterfalls; otherwise, you wouldn't be able to see anything at night.

Illuminated American Falls. Behind it, you'll see a hotel/casino/resort/whatever in New York.

And from a wider angle...here's what they look like after some colour filters are placed on the spotlights.

And the horseshoe falls under white lights. The falling water looks like a giant curtain in this lighting, eh?

And finally: horseshoe falls under coloured lights.
