Teotihuacan

The Aztecs named the main avenue between the temples The Street of the Dead, because they didn't know what the real name was. The civilization which built this place was long-gone by the time the Aztecs discovered it, and they thought it was so cool that they came out here for their coronations. This was the capital of a civilization which dominated Mesoamerica before the Aztecs did. It has been partially reconstructed.
