This course is brought to you by Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA). The instructors for this course are Mimi Duong & Rosalba Rodriguez. The duration of this course is from January 5th to January 9th, from 10AM to 4PM with one thirty minute break halfway through. It is important that you attend every instructional day. This course is looking for students who are willing to put in the time commitment, both inside and outside of the classroom. It is not recommended to miss class because the course accelerates at a rapid pace. If you are to miss any class days, please email the instructors beforehand, preferably on the first day of instruction, to schedule a time to come in and catch up with the lessons.
Students should come out of this class with:
- A basic understanding of Java
- Manipulate the use of logic to get the program to run
- How to create programs
