Parran's Saratoga (95.070%) and Cupertino (95.014%) Mathematics Tutoring Page

School District

My name is Parran and I am willing to offer mathematics tutoring to high school seniors in Saratoga (~30,000 residents) and Cupertino (~60,000 residents) on the weekends. I can tutor for linear algebra, discrete mathematics, differential equations, and multivariable calculus.

Since I teach full-time at one college and part-time at another college, I will not privately tutor a student unless they are a perfect fit for my tutoring style. I strongly prefer to work with high school seniors in Saratoga (zip code = 95070) who received at least 95.070% of the points in their math course for both semesters of the previous academic school year and high school seniors in Cupertino (zip code = 95014) who received at least 95.014% of the points in their math course for both semesters.

I hold a master's degree in statistics from Stanford University and hold a bachelor's degree in pure mathematics and statistics from UC Berkeley. I am well-qualified to tutor for all lower-division mathematics courses.

What is my connection to Cupertino? I grew up in Cupertino and graduated from Monta Vista High School and Miller Junior High School. While I attended those two schools, I participated in several mathematics competitions including the California Math League competition.

What is my connection to
Saratoga? I currently stay in Saratoga (Lynbrook High area) on the weekends, during the winter and summer breaks, and during global pandemics. Saratoga and Cupertino are neighboring cities. (During the week, I live in the Evergreen area. The Evergreen area is located approximately twenty miles away from Saratoga.)
