Mark with Yo La Tengo: Mark joined Yo La Tengo for their encore of their opening Hannukah show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ last night to sing five songs written by rocking Jews: Operation by The Circle Jerks, Too Animalistic by Vom, What's My Name by The Clash, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love by Van Halen, and Life is a Cabaret by Kander and Ebb. Record Release Date: The new Mudhoney record will probably be released in April.

Mark in TAD Documentary: Mark is interviewed in the upcoming TAD documentary Bursting Circuits and Ringing Ears to be released on February 19 by MVD.

Record Recorded: Expecting to record 6-8 songs over four days at Studio Litho in Seattle this month with Tucker Martine, Mudhoney found themselves especially productive and recorded 11 - a full record. Steve added some overdubs in Portland with Tucker again. They will mix soon at Avast.

Saturday, August 4
Melvins Record with Matt: On October 9, The Melvins will release Making Love Demos, a set of eight songs recorded in 1987 with Matt, on Bifocal Media.

Monday, July 30
Dan on Takeovers Record: The Robert Pollard-led Takeovers have released a second record, Bad Football, on Off Records. As with the first record, Dan plays drums on at least one song.

Mudhoney on Soundtrack: 'Touch Me I'm Sick' is included on the soundtrack of the documentary Kurt Cobain: About a Son, and will be released on September 11.

Sunday, July 15
Another DVD TBA?: Munster record filmed the 7/12/07 Madrid show, and depending on how it turns out, a DVD of it may be released.

Friday, May 18
Live Record: Mudhoney will be self-releasing a limited edition live LP of their 12/10/05 Mexico City show. Each LP will come with a code to download mp3s of the songs. Sub Pop will handle the distribution.

Monday, April 30
New Songs: Mudhoney have written eight new songs for a new record that they hope to record with Tucker Martine (who did some of Under a Billion Suns) at some point. Nothing is definite at this time.

Thursday, February 15
New Song on Compilation Mudhoney's I Like to Make Noise and Break Things will appear on the Desoto Records (desotorecords.com) compilation record Play, to be released on April 17. All the songs on the record are aimed at children. Mudhoney wrote and recorded their song specifically for this record.

Mark in Documentary: Mark appears in the self-describing documentary American Hardcore, which will be released on DVD by Sony Pictures on February 20. Mark speaks about what was going on in Seattle in the early-'80s.
