Notes: There were plans for Mark and Steve to do 'Sonic Reducer' with Pearl Jam during their encore, but that got scratched - probably due to Pearl Jam running out of time.

2/15/14 The Tractor Tavern. Seattle, WA (80 min)
Supported By: Unnatural Helpers, Tomb of Ligeia
Set: Slipping Away, I Like it Small, You Got it, Suck You Dry, F.D.K., (In this Rubber Tomb), 1995, In this Rubber Tomb, Flat out Fucked, Sweet Young Thing, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, I Don't Remember You, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: Here Comes Sickness, In 'N' Out of Grace, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: This show was part of the Tractor Tavern's 20th anniversary celebrations. After two weeks apart, they play a sloppy show, and people have fun regardless. During 'F.D.K.,' a crowd surfer gets thrown on stage where he knocks over Marks mic - Mark is hit in the face hard and they stop the song. Then Mark kicks the surfer hard and they take some time to regroup. Later it turns out that the surfer is band friend and cover artist Ed Fotheringham and they make up. They do a couple notes of 'In this Rubber Tomb,' before starting '1995' up instead. Two girls right in front of Steve are there in their homemade Mudhoney t-shirts, and Mark starts the encore by dedicating 'Here Comes Sickness' to the "lady in the Here Comes Sickness shirt." People start clapping along during Dan's 'In N Out of Grace' solo, and Mark tells them that he'd be impressed if they were clapping as fast as Dan was drumming. Then Dan drops out of drumming altogether, leaving Guy doing a de facto bass solo, while people get confused about what they're supposed to clap to.

Encore: Here Comes Sickness, In 'N' Out of Grace, Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: This show was part of a multi-day festival put on by Harvest Records in various venues around Asheville. One of the amps blows, so only Steve plays guitar on traditional two-guitar songs 'Here Comes Sickness' and 'In 'N' Out of Grace.'

8/30/14 "Muddy Roots Festival". Cookeville, TN
Set: Touch Me I'm Sick (set incomplete)
Notes: Mudhoney played the third day of this four-day festival, and played at midnight going into 8/31/14.

9/13/14 The Riot Room. Kansas City, MO
Supported By: Bummer

Encore: (missing)
Notes: 'Broken Hands' is played for the first known time since 1/27/95 and starts a string of lesser-played songs in the set ('F.D.K.,' '1995,' 'Where is the Future,' 'Flat Out Fucked').

9/14/14 "Riot Fest". Humboldt Park. Chicago, IL (45 min)
Supporting: Primus
Supported By: Lucero, Andrew W.K., The Whigs, Laura Stevenson
Set: In 'N' Out of Grace, I Like it Small, You Got it, F.D.K., Broken Hands, Flat Out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain, Fix Me
Notes: Mudhoney played the third day of this three-day festival, on the Rise Stage at 5:55pm. Other bands playing the festival this day included The Cure, Weezer, Cheap Trick, Social Distortion, and Naked Raygun. The setlist for the show was an abbreviated version of the previous night - they played almost the same songs (adding 'Fix Me') in the almost same order (switching 'F.D.K.' and 'Broken Hands'), and omitted a few of them.

9/14/14 The Double Door. Chicago, IL
Supporting: Naked Raygun
Set: Mudride, Sonic Infusion, Who You Drivin' Now?, Suck You Dry, If I Think, 1995, Where is the Future?, Judgment Rage..., Sweet Young Thing, Flat Out Fucked, What to do with the Neutral, The Final Course, The Open Mind, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Notes: This was an after-party for Riot Fest, with Mudhoney playing after their Riot Fest gig earlier in the day. Thurston Moore was originally on the bill and was replaced by Naked Raygun. Mudhoney finished their Riot Fest set at 6:40pm and started here around 10:30pm. It's a rare set that omits 'Touch Me I'm Sick,' 'You Got it,' 'In 'N' Out of Grace,' and 'Hate the Police,' but there's still a few hits in there, like 'Suck You Dry.' Steve breaks a string during 'Mudride,' but they plow through. The band seems a little tired during the first half of the show (perhaps owing to it being the second gig of the day), but get a second wind. Guy especially gets high energy, and mentions, "I've been drinking beer for hours. FOR HOURS!" They skip an encore because they want everyone to enjoy Naked Raygun (the show taking place on a Sunday night, with people having work in the morning).

10/24/14 The Bartlett. Spokane, WA
Attendance: 200
Supported By: Barton Carroll, Heavy Seventeen
Set: In 'N' Out of Grace, I Like it Small, You Got it, Broken Hands, F.D.K., 1995, Where is the Future, Flat Out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Sweet Young Thing, Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: Mudride, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police (encore possibly incomplete)
Notes: Mark introduces 'Chardonnay' with, "This one comes from the heart." Dan stops 'Mudride' not long after they begin, with Mark explaining, "We haven't played that one in a while," before they restart. The guys rate this show as good.

10/25/14 Crazy Horse. Boise, ID
Attendance: 200
Supported By: Barton Carroll, Bret Nelson & the Shakes
Notes: While Spokane the previous night was a good show, this one was not. Mark later said of the show that anyone who didn't attend "didn't miss anything." The crowd starts noticeably thinning out by the time they come back for an encore.

11/7/14 "The Olympia Film Festival". The Capitol Theater. Olympia, WA (85 min)
Attendance: 700
Supported By: Girl Trouble
Set: In 'N' Out of Grace, I Like it Small, You Got it, Broken Hands, F.D.K., 1995, Where is the Future, Flat Out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Sweet Young Thing, Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: If I Think, Here Comes Sickness, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: This show was the opening night reception of the 31st annual Olympia Film Festival, with both Mudhoney's I'm Now documentary and a documentary on Girl Trouble airing during the festival. Early on, Mark breaks a string on his guitar, and swaps it out for Steve's spare guitar, leaving them playing matching Guilds. There's a girl in the front row who's plugging her ears the entire show, because who knew that the front row of a rock concert would be loud? Finally, before 'Judgment Rage...,' Guy disappears from the stage for a minute and returns with a pair of ear plugs for her. Mark sees this and comments, "We may sound like shit, but we look pretty good, right?"

11/14/14 Neumo's. Seattle, WA (85 min)
Attendance: 650
Supported By: The Tom Price Desert Classic, The 'King Eagles
Set: Mudride, Sonic Infusion, Who You Drivin' Now?, I Like it Small, Broken Hands, 1995, Where is the Future, Where the Flavor is, Flat out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: If I Think, Here Comes Sickness, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: For whatever reason, tonight happens to be "girls to the front" like it's a Bikini Kill show. However, not everything about the crowd is different - the racial diversity is exactly the same as at every other American show. For whatever reason, tonight also happens to be the "helpless stage diver" show. Many brave souls get up on stage, and then become meek souls when it's time to dive into the crowd, and more or less fall forward from the lip of the stage without jumping. The band goes prog in the first half of the set and play their longer songs, then focus on short songs for the back half of the set. Early in the show, a young woman in the front is aided just like at the last show in Olympia. This time, instead of Guy getting a woman earplugs, its tour manager Danny pulling a woman out of the rambunctious crowd and letting her watch from side stage. Once again, who could've guessed that the front of a Mudhoney show would be loud or rambunctious? Dan messes up 'Judgment Rage…' early on, and they can't just restart the song - they have to be coordinated. So, Mark lines up Steve and Guy so that they're all facing sideways towards Guy's side of the stage, with their instruments pointed straight out at the crowd. Now they can resume the song. A woman who's friends with the band starts throwing ice at them throughout the latter part of the set, and it turns out that being pelted with ice can sometimes distract a fellow from performing music, but they persevere.

11/15/14 Dante's. Portland, OR (85 min)
Attendance: 500
Supported By: Poison Idea, P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S.
Set: : In 'N' Out of Grace, I Like it Small, You Got it, Broken Hands, F.D.K., 1995, Where is the Future, Flat Out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Sweet Young Thing, Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: : If I Think, Here Comes Sickness, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: The guys all watch all of Poison Idea's set, and are stoked about it. They do nearly the same set as in Olympia the previous weekend - swapping out 'Here Comes Sickness' for 'Sonic Infusion' in the encore. Mark introduces 'Hate the Police' with, "This song is about my mommy."

11/21/14 Wild Buffalo House of Music. Bellingham, WA (95 min)
Attendance: 450
Supported By: The DTs
Set: Mudride, Sonic Infusion, Who You Drivin' Now?, I Like it Small, If I Think, 1995, Where is the Future, Where the Flavor is, Flat out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: Broken Hands, In 'N' Out of Grace, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: After 'Who You Drivin' Now?,' Mark says, "We originally wrote that for an Estrus (Records) compilation. Then we kept it for our own record. ... I'm not saying what we gave them ('March to Fuzz') was shit, but you know [smiles]." (Dave Crider from opener the DTs owned and operated Estrus Records.) After they finish their encore, with Bellingham being a 90 minute drive to Seattle, Mark gives an extended plug for the show they're doing with the Flesh Eaters in Seattle on 1/13/15 - more about seeing The Flesh Eaters than about seeing Mudhoney.

11/22/14 The Rickshaw Theatre. Vancouver, Canada (85 min)
Attendance: 600
Supported By: B-Lines, Tough Age
Soundcheck: Sonic Infusion
Set: In 'N' Out of Grace, I Like it Small, You Got it, Broken Hands, F.D.K., 1995, Where is the Future, Where the Flavor is, Flat out Fucked, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, What to do with the Neutral, I'm Now, The Final Course, The Open Mind, Chardonnay, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain
Encore: Here Comes Sickness, Into the Drink, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: The venue is not in the nicest part of town. Early on, Mark comments that they enjoyed drinking and spending time with the zombies in the alley behind the venue and at the Empress Hotel bar across the street. Later on, Steve is rocking out so hard during 'Chardonnay' that his glasses fly off - first time that's happened in years. He adequately stumbles through the rest of the song, and afterward, Guy jokes "The zombies got Steve!" while Steve does a zombie impression, shuffling around the stage. They come out for the encore, and Mark thanks the openers, the crowd, and themselves. They mark the latter of these thanks with fist bumps and clinking of drinks. Dan starts up 'Into the Drink,' only Dan doesn't remember how to start up 'Into the Drink.' Mark jokes about how "Dan wanted to play it ... and then he fucked it up!" (they haven't performed it in a year). So, Dan starts again, and again Dan doesn't get through the intro. With varying degrees of the other guys air drumming the intro to help him, and laughter all around, there's a third try, a fourth try ... and eventually the seventh try is the charm. That's not to say that Dan got the intro correct, just that the other guys came in when they were supposed to, and Dan picked the beat back up after a second.

11/23/14 The Queen's Hotel. Nanaimo, Vancouver
Attendance: 200
Supported By: Moths and Locusts, Teenage Tiger
Set: Sonic Infusion, You Got it, I Like it Small, Where is the Future, Where the Flavor is, Judgment Rage..., Touch Me I'm Sick, The Final Course, The Open Mind, The Only Son of the Widow from Nain (set incomplete)
Encore: If I Think, In 'N' Out of Grace, The Money Will Roll..., Hate the Police, Fix Me
Notes: They play a rowdy gig at a small, sold-out club in Nanaimo - a smaller place on Vancouver Island that's accessible from the city of Vancouver by ferry. When they come back out for the encore, Mark tells the crowd with a smile, "We just want to make it clear that we landed here in Nanaimo at about 1pm, and we've been drinking ever since" (and this was a late-ish gig for a Sunday, with a weekly 'blues jam' at the venue until 7:30) - huge pop from the crowd for that one. As Dan finishes out the drums for 'The Money Will Roll...,' Mark thanks Jack and Dave for suggesting the gig "We weren't planning on it, and they saw we were playing Vancouver and were like, 'Hey do you want to come to Nanaimo?' I guess. Sure! Fuck yeah! Sunday night - what else do we got to do?" He then expands on the thanks from last night to individually call out the other guys - Steve for "playing some killer lead guitar," Dan for "playing that cymbal like a motherfucker," and Guy for "being so stoic right now."
