-- NOT HELD --

According to informed sources, in region 15, the ACUI coordinators, in order to assist the teams in preparation, gave each school copies of the 1982 regionals and intramurals. Lo and Behold, when the teams arrived, they discovered that those were the questions reused by the "College" Bowl Co. this year, and so the regional was postponed until different questions could be obtained. In that light, please fill out the enclosed questionnaire.

MONEY

This journal needs money to continue publication. Thus far contributions have been averaging about $5.00 per donation. Reproduction and postage costs continue to rise. Consider a $5.00 donation to be a two year subscription.

ADDRESS LIST

Our address list now consists of about 100 active schools and interested alumni. If you know of any team not receiving BUZZER, please forward their address.

In order to keep the list current, BUZZER needs everyone who is receiving this to RSVP to the above address.

DEDICATION

This issue of BUZZER is named in honor of Carol Guthrie for her decade long contribution to Academic Buzzer Competitions. She continues to be active, directing several tournaments this year. Thank you, Carol.

CONTEST

BUZZER is considering holding a round-writing contest that would judge new Academic Buzzer Competition Rounds for quality. The winners would be selected by a panel of impartial judges and would be awarded a pecuniary prize. Rounds would then be sold to interested parties in order to defray costs.

If you are interested in such a contest, contact BUZZER. If there is enough interest, BUZZER will sponser such a contest over the summer.
