Tourney: Beaver Bonspiel Host: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Date: Oct. 29 Reporting: Kyle Pope (MIT) OK. Here are thee official results of the mighty Beaver Bonspiel. All in all, I think (from my biased point of view) that things went well, if you discount that running-on-time thing. Our tournamnet consisted of two 9-team brackets playing round robins with the top two from each bracket going to crossover playoffs (A1 vs. B2, B1 vs. A2). and then to a best-of-three finals. I, of course, sat down to give the complete stats for the tournamnet and found I do not have them. So, as Matt posted earlier, the winner was Harvard A "Aces" over Harvard B "Jokers" 2-0 in the finals. They reached the finals by beating Yale A "Nine Inch Yale" (by Harvard A) and Boston University A "Ice" (by Harvard B). Included here are the point totals and ppg for each team, though. Pts.
