Congratulations to Duke University, the winners of the 1999 NAQT 
Southeastern SCT.  They posted an impressive 11-1 record in a full 
Division I round robin in prelims and then put up 2 wins in the finals 
over Berry to seal the championship.  Here are the brief results:

* Berry defeated Kentucky A 305-215 in round 10 to own the tiebreaker.
** South Carolina A defeated Georgia A 300-125 in round 4.
*** Vanderbilt A defeated Georgia 220-145 in round 4.
**** Georgia State defeated Florida A 235-200 in round 13.
***** Florida B defeated Georgia Tech B 190-80 in round 12.


Playoffs:

Since Berry had defeated Duke 320-90 in round 9, they owned a 1 game 
advantage in the best 2 out of 3 finals.

Game 2: Duke def. Berry  230-215
Game 3: Duke def. Berry  375-220

Despite the losses in the finals, Berry won the Best Undergraduate Team 
award.


Division II:

The 5 teams in Division II played a double round robin followed by a 
straight-up best 2 out of 3 playoff.  Here are the standings after the 
prelims:

Furman            3-5
Florida C         3-5
Vanderbilt B      2-6

Game 1: Georgia C def. South Carolina B  185-170
Game 2: South Carolina B def. Georgia C  225-145
Game 3: Georgia C def. South Carolina B  235-45

A big thank you to all the teams who attended for making this tournament 
run VERY smoothly and provide exceptional competition! Also, thanks to
