the 1999 Minnesota Deep Bench Invitational held October 29-30.

In the following singles/doubles stats, among teams with identical
records,
the team that won head to head was awarded the higher placement. The
only
three-way "circles of death" were at #1 singles. Subash from Illinois won
a
5 tossup tie-breaker to claim the #1 singles title. Also at #1 singles,
there was a "circle of death" for fourth place that was not played off.
Ranking by total points in matches between the three players, Michigan
had
190, Carleton had 170 and Iowa had 140.
