LAB MANAGER

Randy T. Lee

I received my B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, where I was awarded the Warner Brown Memorial Prize for Outstanding Promise in Psychological Research. During my studies at Berkeley, I completed an honors thesis on why bullying occurs and stops, asking former victims, bullies, and bystanders about their experiences. My research interests include three distinct, yet related areas: 1) the equifinality and equipotentiality of emotion, 2) the deliberate and automatic ways we intrapersonally and interpersonally regulate emotion, and 3) the causes and outcomes of experiencing social rejection.

Research Interests: Emotion, emotion regulation, and social rejection
