Comment: Nondorf is a fabolous person. What she says goes on her exam. It's clear that she wants her students to both succeed and master the material. Really she's as good as a professor you get at Cal when looking at the Business department because she's fair, honest, and extremely personable. Someone you can respect and who respects the students and understands both the capabilities of her students and the need to push to differentiate between who is interested in the subject material and who is just looking to get into the business major. Great professor.

Comment: Extremely clear expectations for the class, highly detailed exam information. As far as doing well in the module, she's the best because her expectations are all given out to you; all you have to do is study to them. The module assessment for her is probably the longest, though. She's somewhat of a boring lecturer, but hey, you just want the good grade, right? For that, in my opinion she's the best because it's clear what she wants, but it's not just handed out to you or stupidly easy.

Comment: Assignments: Her module's assessment activity was tedious, but doable (as long as you didn't leave it until the night before). Enthusiasm: It was clear that she was very excited to teach the course. Helpfulness: Super accessible. She was the least intimidating professor I've ever dealt with. Exams: Very straightforward. There were a few funky questions, but these were not a problem if you knew the material well. She provided a practice exam and posted an incredibly specific review guide.

Comment: For those who aren't aware, UGBA 10 is split into 4 modules, with a different professor for each one. Nondorf was the course manager, and taught the last module. She was very enthusiastic and eager to each. Did an overall good job as the course manager, and her module was probably the most important and helpful one. Her slides are weirdly structured, and her exam was pretty killer. At least she didn't put the class on a curve.

Comment: She was straightforward. However, as course manager, I'd love to see her review the participation grade since some GSIs didn't use the rubric mentioned in the syllabus. This made some GSIs giving distinctly lower participation grades than others aka arbitrary grading. Overall, great professor.

Comment: I really enjoyed this class and the new format this semester. We didn't have a curve, which made the class slightly less stressful. There were 4 diff professors for the 4 diff modules. Generally everything was fair, although the third module exam under Professor Thomas was slightly irrelevant and harder. Assignments were interesting and if you put effort into it you can get full marks. I definitely learnt a lot. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants a basic understanding of business.

Comment: The class was fairly typical of an accounting class. She tends to use the book a lot, for powerpoints and homework. There were three test, 2 midterms and a final (cumulative). The test were fairly predictable and should be reasonable is you know the examples she gives you in class as she does not give any curveball questions.

Comment: Overall, Nondorf was a pretty good professor, but she could get a little strict when it came to paying attention in class and laptop/phone usage. There were 3 cases in groups of 4, 5 quizzes, a final paper, and daily participation.
