Comment: Loved Prof. Hammons. She was very fair and had great input on essays. Very little reading assigned. Only three papers in the class and topics were on a wide variety, and a lot of individuality can be expressed. She inspired me and brought out the best in my writing and research abilities. I would highly recommend taking one of her courses. I would happily take a course with her again

Comment: There were no exams in this class (simply three papers and a Prezi presentation). The course focused on implementing and analyzing Web 2.0 tools. The papers (a digital narrative, an analysis of a digital text, and a research paper) could be adjusted to the student's preferences (for instance, I took a more creative writing/philosophical approach to my papers), making it a refreshing change to the typically rigid structure of other writing and composition classes.

Comment: CW 110 was my favorite class in college 'til date. Professor Hammons really made the experience enjoyable. We had three main essays - a memory narrative, a cultural criticism, and a profile. The small class contributed to a very community-like experience. Professor was very accessible through email and office hours, and provided great feedback. I'm going to take another writing class before I graduate because I loved this class so much.
