Comment: Knowledgeable dude. Obviously his freshman seminar is an easy A. His personality could potentially be not that likable if you're all touchy feely. Otherwise, you should respect the guy for what he knows about EE/electronics.

Comment: Fun class and really knowledgeable professor. Don't be late or rude or do anything to get on his nerves; he'll chew you out

Comment: This class is pretty interesting for anyone who wants to know what electrical engineers make. Every week, a student is responsible for presenting 10-20 minutes on a specific gadget (like monitors, hard drives, cell phones, etc.). Then, a discussion follows and then you get to take apart the gadget of the week. To pass, you have to miss no more than two classes, give a presentation, and do a one-to-two hour lab. Unfortunately, the class is pretty poorly organized. For instance, when I was doing the lab, I had to come back several times because it's only open when certain TAs meet, but the professor sent us there anyways (without specific information on when it would be available).

Comment: This was a great class! I enjoyed how we got to learn about electronics as freshman instead of waiting until upper division classes for hands on and more detailed learning. The discussions were very informative and thought provoking. Professor Bokor has a lot of insight into, and knowledge about, the electronic world. A great break from academics. If you're interested in electronics or are curious about it, this is a great way to dabble!

Comment: There is no reason not to take this class. If you have even the slightest interest, do it! You meet once a week for an hour to take apart different gadgets and gizmos and see how they work. Bokor has been in the business a long time and is great at explaining how everything works. This is the kind of class that teaches you things you'll want to remember so you can explain them later to your friends. No exams. Only homework all semester is a 10-15 minute presentation about a gadget of your choosing. Take this class.

Comment: Professor has terrible lecture style and is a dick to his students, but overall the class was interesting and helped me learn a lot of important engineering concepts.

Comment: Homeworks are hard and you seriously should take ee 130 before taking this class, even though 130 isn't a prereq anymore. Quite a bit of device physics involved especially in dealing with the lab report.
