Comment: Engaging lectures, definitely enjoyed going to them. Going to section helps, as the GSIs will go through additional material in preparation for the exams. Midterm and final were challenging, tested your understanding of the material. Overall a really useful class if you are into macroeconomics.

Comment: Prof. Romer was really enthusiastic and explained things really well. This class introduced me to lots of current topics in economics. It's easy to get a lot out of this class but it is slightly harder to do well in it! Exams and assignments were very fair though.

Comment: She's definitely knowledgeable. This isn't a class where she tells a lot of stories. It's straight-up macro. However, many economics majors have expressed to me that they didn't like how much historical content/reading there was. The problem sets are hard but if you go to office hours, they give you all the answers. For non-econ majors, this class can sometimes get very technical (econometrics) and is often quickly referenced. This can be difficult to understand for those without prior knowledge. However, overall, it shouldn't be a barrier to your taking this class. Overall her enthusiasm and knowledge makes this a worthwhile class to take.
