Comment: This professor was entertaining and knows plenty about sociology. He goes easy on students although the topics that he covers are dense.

Comment: This class is super easy. I'm not a sociology major, but I took it because I wanted to take a soc class prior to graduating. Though it's only once a week, the lectures are 3 hours and sometimes it's hard to remain focused. Thankfully, there's usually a break about half-way through the lectures and there's plenty of snacks (cookies, brownies) available to re-energize students. The class is taught by different lecturers pretty much every week and the final class is a symposium with all the previous lecturers debating/discussing questions from students. There's also weekly journal responses that are pretty much only graded on completeness. For the mid-term and final, definitely study with a partner or group and you'll be fine (they give you all the potential questions a week in a advance).
