Comment: A knowledge of statistics is helpful for this class. Expect to spend some hours piecing together STATA codes.

Comment: Professor does not have a text book for this class. If you miss one day of class you are really far behind. There are no lecture slides. The very first day he told us that he does not respond to email as often, so if you can't make it to his office hours you are screwed. Personally I think his voice puts me to sleep. In addition, he always looks to the ceiling at the back of the class while talking so he seems very distant and unapproachable. So practicing for his tests are close to impossible because there is no way to check your answer. During review sessions you go over the practice final, but he just beats around the bush and never tells us the answer or how to do it. He tells you a tiny little framework then goes on a tangent to waste time intentionally.... This class, I felt like I learned very little and it was very challenging for someone with a poor math background. He teaches at the level of Multivariable Calculus and Probability Theory. Most of what we learned was theory and very little of it was applied, and this is why I would not recommend this class
