Comment: Howard was alright, but the class itself is just inherently boring, and since it's really just non-majors that have to take it, there is NO enthusiasm for the material.

Comment: Howard wasn't in charge of labs, so I'm rating the labs in general, not him. Anyway, lab was one big waste of time, as it didn't have much to do with lecture (and nothing to do with exams). It's more work than necessary, especially for a 1-unit class, so if you don't want to take it, just don't.

Comment: Good overall prof, exams had lots of curves to them, so be well grounded in concepts

Comment: Howard's lectures were a little dull but you can't really avoid it considering the subject matter. He was pretty nice and was really helpful. HW assignment were mostly pretty okay although some computation was a little messy. Labs are okay for this class but pre-labs suck... at least the first few really sucked (due to obnoxious algebra derivatives). The midterm in this class was easy but the final was pretty hard. Good intro class to circuits and pretty interesting.
