Fri Mar 5 | PolioPlus Dinner and Documentary Showing Fundraiser | 7PM-9PM | Unit 3 APR
Come to help fundraise for PolioPlus! We’re showing “The Final Inch”, a documentary about polio eradication efforts that was nominated for an Oscar! There will also be guest speakers from Rotary and lots of delicious food! $3 presale at the Rotaract table on Sproul, $4 at the door (You won’t get a dinner cheaper than this!!) QUESTIONS? Sat Mar 6 | Amazing Race | 7PM-9PM | Campus Wide!
Take a break from midterms and come out to our AMAZING RACE EVENT ON MARCH 6th! Teams of 4-6 will be racing around and competing against one another in our campus wide scavenger hunt. This is the ultimate battle of the championship title, bragging rights, and an amazing cool prize! The last day to register for this event will be on March 4th at 5pm! This is free for members and $2 for non-members. Help all-volunteer Friends of Five Creeks restore habitat and enjoyment of the Bay Shore in Eastshore State Park. You’ll see where our campus’s Strawberry Creek reaches the Bay, learn how the Bay was rescued, and help with ongoing restoration of what was once a garbage dump. QUESTIONS? Box Top for Education Drive, Mar 4-20
We will be posting envelopes outside of RA’s bulletin as well as having a box at our table where people can drop off their box tops. All box tops will go to a local elementary school!
III. Clarification on the Point System
For those of you still confused on the point system: We have essentially revamped the point system so that you can ALL get even better prizes as you participate more often in our events! This involves “Levels,” which depend on the amount of points that you have.
Level 1 Paid Member (T-shirt; will be available soon)
Level 2 50 Points (Shotglass/Toothpick holder)
Level 3 100 Points ???
Level 4 150 Points ???
Level 5 200 Points ???

- We are still selling wristbands ($2)!! Stop by our table on Sproul (Tu-Th, 10AM-2PM) and buy one! Money will be going to Haiti Relief.
- Local Service Committee: Education, we hear your call! Join to get involved in educational projects around Berkeley.

Sign-Up for Relay for Life!
It currently costs only $10 to join our fight against cancer! Relay for Life, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is a 24-hour event that raises money for cancer research, treatment, and advocacy.The even will take place on May 1-2 (Sat-Sun) from 10 am-10 am at the Edwards Stadium (Bancroft & Oxford). To join the club, please come to our meetings and fill out sign up slips for our events. Active members are asked to attend at leastTWO events per semester and pay dues of $10/year OR $7/semester. Rotaractors will receive a FREE T-shirt, Pin, and many other cool things. Dues can be paid after the meeting or at our table. We also table on weekdays from 10AM-2PM.
