I. Big West Conference, Oct 15-17

Join us for the 2010 Big West Conference in UC Berkeley- the first-ever West Coast conference of its kind! The conference is a call to action for Rotaractors to network, share, and inspire one another by “Bridging Connections.” Events will include:

* THREE days, TWO nights of full fun in Berkeley
* 4-hour SF Bay BOAT CRUISE with DJ, BAR, and DESSERT BUFFET
* WAPI BUILD service project
* Rotary-led Professional Development WORKSHOPS
* BRIDGE CONNECTIONS that will last a lifetime!

Fri. Oct. 8 / Local Committee: Emerson Elementary Training / 3:15PM / Sproul Water Fountain
We will be going to Emerson Elementary School to undergo training to become Mentors/Tutors! Please bring your Cal ID and license because we will be filling out paperwork! Training may take up to 1-2 hours because working with kids has many rules but will be insanely fun!

September has gone and past, so our September Special no longer applies! The membership fees are now $22 for a year(including T-shirt) OR $14 for a semester (excluding T-shirt). We also ask that members fill out our membership application (available online at calrotaract.org) which will also be available at our table on Sproul Plaza. Please turn it in to us either at our meetings or at our table (MTuW 9AM-2PM) with your dues.
