Assassins Result
Congratulations to the Axels for winning the Assassins game!

Cancellation of the Dinner with a Rotarian (11/17)
Due to a conflict (Rotary Peace Scholars Panel), we will be rescheduling our Dinner with a Rotarian. Please check below for more information about the Rotary Peace Scholars Panel.

Membership Cards
We handed out the membership cards at our Last General Meeting! Please hold onto these membership cards. You will be using them in the future to gain access to certain events. If you were unable to pick up your membership card, we will be handing them out during banquet (more info below).

Nov. 15-17 | 10AM-2PM | Upper Sproul
TOMORROW is the last day of the Coin War! Come to Rotaract Table on Upper Sproul and show your family spirit by competing in this first ever FAMILY COIN WAR! All the proceeds will go support the effort to eradicate Polio. Winning family will receive a prize! Here are the rules:
Every penny= ONE POSITIVE point
Every non-penny= ONE NEGATIVE point for each cent
i.e. Nickel= -5 points, Dollar= -100 points, 5 Dollars= -500 points.

Rotary Peace Scholars Panel
Wed. Nov. 17 | 7:30PM-9PM | 104 Barrows
Interested in international peace and stories from aborad? Interested in studying abroad and promoting international development and peace efforts? The UC Berkeley Peace Scholars Program features graduate students from outside the US that are engaged in such projects and research. Amazing Race
Thurs. Nov. 18 | 7PM | Sproul Fountain
Think you know Berkeley? Think you got the wits? Think you’re still in shape? Take on the Amazing Race with Cal Rotaract with a team of 4-6 people! Make your own team with friends or family members! Or, come and meet new people to be assigned to a team. It’s going to be a hell of a night, and it’s a great way to set off the BIG GAME!

The Winning Team will receive $60 worth of Transportation Money (i.e. BART, Muni, AC Transit). Be sure to sign up through the Rotaract Facebook event. More logistics can be found on the facebook event or website. Note: This event is free for Cal Rotaract members. Non-members must pay $2 in order to participate. QUESTIONS? Concession Stands: Basketball

This is our first fundraiser opportunity open to all members! Come help at the Men’s Basketball (Cal vs. New Mexico) concessions this Saturday! We will need 8-10 people. Food will be available at the stand.

Polio Benefit Movie Screening
Tues. Nov. 23 | 7PM-10PM | 2040 VLSB
We will be showing Toy Story 3! Suggested Donation is $3, which will be going to Rotary International in order to purchase VACCINES to eradicate Polio! Light snacks will be provided.

End of Year Banquet
Tues. Nov. 30 | 7PM | TBA | Semi-formal Attire
Come out to the end of the year banquet to celebrate all the things we’ve accomplished this semester. See your family members, fellow friends and Rotaractors one more time in a fun and cheery setting before studying starts getting intense. It’s going to be a night of fun, music, and camaraderie! There will be plenty of food and entertainment provided. More information will be posted soon!

Wed. Dec. 1 | 7PM-9PM | 4th Floor MLK
**Attire: Business Casual**
Come out to the final Professional Development event of the semester! This is an excellent chance to network with Rotarians and Rotaract professionals, some who have just entered their fields and some who have extensive experience in their fields. Get career advice from those at the top echelons of their field and learn about different career paths! there will be a fun ice breaker, speed networking and a guest speaker! Refreshments will be provided.
