Eren Sasoglu

Research Scientist, Intel Labs
I received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Bogazici University in 2005, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in communication systems from EPFL in 2007 and 2011, respectively. I was a postdoc from 2012 till 2015, first at UCSD, and later at UC Berkeley.

Research

I am broadly interested in communication, information, and coding theories. My doctoral work was in polar coding. At Berkeley, I also studied information theoretic problems in DNA sequencing.
