Mini University is an event for Bay Area high school students to experience a day in the life of a Berkeley Engineering student. Participants explore careers in STEM through lab tours, hands-on engineering activities, professor and student talks, and student panels.

Engineering Day is a fun event in October where parents and K-3rd graders interact with Halloween-themed science booths in a casual, carnival style. In past years, we've had over 100 kids attend!

HSEP is a 10-week long program that introduces female high school students to the principles and applications of engineering. Students participate engaging lessons and are mentored in small teams to carry out an involved engineering project.

SWE Science
SWE Science Saturdays [Grades 4-5] and SWE Science Scholars [Grades 6-8] are free, monthly programs conducted by UC Berkeley STEM students geared towards teaching young students the fundamentals of science and engineering through hands-on activities and experiments supplemented by presentations and workshops on scientific concepts.

Overnight Host Program
OHP offers female and non-binary identifying admits to the College of Engineering and Chemical Engineering major a taste of the Berkeley Engineering experience through campus and lab tours, professor panels, undergraduate student shadowing, peer advising, our Pen Pal program, and more!

SWE++
SWE++ is a 10 week course that aims to provide introductory programming skills to 30 local middle girls. The first 9 weeks covers an interactive curriculum in Scratch and Python that our teachers and volunteers create and teach. The final week of the course is a full day of coding and engineer workshops called Tech Day.

SWENext
SWENext aims to encourage high school females to explore STEM and consider a STEM career by helping them establish SWENext clubs at their high schools. We provide students with resources to help them navigate high school, college, and career planning. We also have a mentorship program that connects high schoolers with undergraduate mentors to advise, support, and inspire them to pursue their interests in STEM. Join SWENext committee to be part of a community that works with youth to increase representation in STEM fields!

Tech Day
Tech Day day-long conference for middle school female and non-binary identifying students to gain more exposure to computer science and technology. Students are encouraged to submit a technology-related project to showcase at Tech Day. And, the conference will include tech-inspired activities such as hands-on workshops in both hardware and software and STEM panelists/speakers.
