Who doesn't want to put animated chicken on things?
AR Chicken allows users to place an animated chicken model on physical surfaces detected by rear camera in world scale.
Features
- Plane detection using AR Foundation in Unity
- Raycast chicken to the detected plane
- Destroy chicken after 10 seconds so there won't be too many chicken
- Animate chicken by flapping its wings and moving its legs (done in Blender)
- Z-buffer shader to correctly occlude chicken from planes in front of it to ensure a bit of realism
Code and documentation
You can import all from the Unity package and build and run on iOS or Android (need AR Kit or AR Core respectively)
