I gave this to my nineth graders:

Can you give a five letter english word that contains 4 vowels and only one consonant?

Can you find such a word where all the vowels are different?

The word can only be five letters.
Can you find the one where all the vowels are different?

As an addendum, this is what a computerized search returns:

The 4th and 5th wouldn't work. Also, y is a vowel if it is in a certain part of the word.
