es, if they are real, then they are some of the stealthyist beings around, for no-one has had proof of them for hundreds of years of "existense".

I think that mermaids were just manatees that sailors saw, thinking that they were sort of human. Although it might not have been manatees that they mistook, I'm not sure...

| Well, it doesn't seem to have breasts, so while it may be stated that it's a mermaid, it seems to be missing a few bits. Also, as everyone knows, merpeople get legs when they leave the water. So clearly it is some other species.

| Hmm, that's weird, never seen that pic before, although there had been several mermaid 'sightings' here. ( No, not the Ariel kind, more like a cross between a banshee and a dugong ) on Jul 11th, 2007, 11:31am, Iceman wrote:JiNbOtAk, is that you girlfriend? |
| Sorry to burst your bubble, Icey, my wife is somewhat leggier. on Jul 11th, 2007, 2:04pm, Sameer wrote: Or Iceman, is that you after you met JiNbOtAk? |
| Actually, the picture does look like a really tired dehydrated Ice-mer-people collapsing after a really long swim.
