Welcome to MIH 2008!

Mission

The Pilipino Association for Health Careers (PAHC), Black Students in Health Association (BSHA), and the Chicanos/Latinos in Health Education at UC Berkeley are joining in a collaborative effort to provide a professional networking environment conducive to building a minority pre-health community and fostering relationships among diverse students and professionals in health careers.

General Information

When: Saturday May 3rd , 2008

Where: 10 Evans Hall on the University of California, Berkeley campus.

Time: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Registration is free; the entire event is free of cost. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the event. Event is wheelchair accessible.

Target Audience:

Minorities, Disadvantaged Students, Undergraduates, & High School Students

Students and guests will have the opportunity to hear excellent and inspirational speakers from diverse backgrounds, learn more about what it takes to be a competative applicant for professional health schools, and speak with representatives from medical and public health schools.

This is a wonderful opportunity for undergraduates to meet students, physicians and other practicing professionals who have overcome extreme academic and personal challenges and share in their journey to a fulfilling and rewarding career in health.

There will be raffles at the end of the event! Prizes TBA!!!

Please be aware that we intend to cap this event to 200 attendees.
