Ever since I watched the
movie Road Trip, I've always wanted to really do one. That is, I've
wanted to go out somewhere with a few friends, visit somewhere I haven't
been to, and just have a relaxing few days with just a bunch of buddies.
At the end of CalSO last year, my plans for a road trip fell through at
the last minute when the driver backed out. Fortunately, things did not happen that way this time around. As memory recalls, talk of a road trip among the returners first started early in the spring semester. After months of talk, light planning, frantic phone calls, and one delay, on July 19th, with my buddies Connor, Noam, and Shannon, we finally went on the freeway and began our road trip. During the next five days and four nights, we spent basically every single living second together and the great thing is we never blew up at each other, no one was left behind on the road, no one was voted off... Heck, it was one nice and enjoyable vacation. Here is a bunch of pictures and commentary from the trip. I hope you enjoy them and from looking at this sample, how much I enjoyed the trip. - Garett |
