Why Did I Choose Him?
Often times, when a director is placed in a position with demanding, above-the-title actors and actresses, the film suffers and end up sucking because the director's vision is lost in the mix. From the four films that I've seen, Roach has managed to maintain control of his films to support his vision. As a result, they've become rather humorous films, worthy of repeat viewings.
