Why Did I Choose Him?
The Office would not be as good of a show as it is had it not been for Gervais' excellent writing/direction with Stephen Merchant. The show mixes drama and comedy, resulting in a hilarious fusion. It is truly one of the best shows ever made on television.

Gervais is currently helping the US adaptation of "The Office." In addition, he is currently working on the next television series.
