Why Did I Choose Him?
Life is Beautiful is one of my favorite movies of all time. It carefully balances humor, warmth, and tragedy so that at the end of the film, you are devastated. His earlier Italian movies are also just as good, though they sorta cross beyond the slapstick comedy realm.
