Jeez... if it isn't me, it's somebody/something else.

Well, I'm glad I got through a year without going to the ER as a patient.
Although I did bring my mom to ER last year, which sucked. But she got better quickly.

At the end of Feburary this year (yes it's been a month), a friend borrowed my Acura Legend and got into an accident :( The front passenger side is unfortunetely crushed inward about 1 foot, so there's severe damage to the radiator and components in that area. Because it was a truck or SUV of some sort, most of the impact was to the softer areas instead of the bumpers.

Last week, we finally got it towed from San Bruno ($1800?! Never ever leave a car at a impound lot more than 24 hours.) to Ed's shop, but when he looked at it, he was like... "yeah.... I can't fix that. that'd be like $7000" So we got it towed back home.

Now I have to either strip out all the stuff I want to keep and either donate it or sell it to pick & pull..... or fix it, which would require a donor car.

Anybody got a generation 1 Legend with a good front frame, and an itch for a project? I'm guessing not, eh?

"Let's do this!"

Yesterday I performed for the first time at Starlite's Showcase. The event is a whole day's worth of teacher-student performances and happens every half year or so.

Considering that I felt like I had regressed a bit at the practice session the day before, I was pretty nervous. Oh yeah, and I spent like 4 hours driving around to pick up pieces for a costume after that. (Selix's warehouse is in Hayward near Foothill Expressway and A Street if you ever need to rent a suit the day of)

But as we were going up on stage, Paige and I were like "Let's do this!" and well, we did it. Sure, I know I screwed up a couple times, but hopefully people didn't notice :)

We'll probably refine it and perform it again later, and I'll be looking forward to doing so. But yeah, it was fun! :)
