I Was Deeply Moved!!

2003/12/30

Yesterday, we had a recording session for JAM, which marked the last day of work for me for 2003. Afterwards, everyone at Lantis, the members of JAM, etc... and I had yakiniku. (^-^)
(Thanks for the feast, Inoue-saaaaann!).
And today, the 30th, I watched "The Last Samurai".
People who had watched it had told me, "You should definitely see it," so I was finally able to watch it today.
My thoughts on it are...
"I was deeply moved!!" in a nutshell.
Perhaps it reminded me of my pride as a Japanese...
I can't really explain it all here, but anyways, please do go and watch it. Wow... It's been a while since I was so deeply moved...

Good Weather!!

2003/12/27

We will hold the last concert for r.o.r/s today.
It marks the last(?) of my work as part of r.o.r/s.
Starting tomorrow, both Yonekura Chihiro and I will start again on our separate careers, and we will be preparing for our respective releases and tours for the coming year.
So today we'll go all out as r.o.r/s!

I'm back home!!!!!
Today's concert was a big success! (In my mind, at least.)
Well, if you want to get into the details, I did mess up a little on the lyrics (I always do that... I'm very sorry), and I got so much into the dancing that I forgot some of the moves. But in the talk session, we had so much to say!!! I think the two of us were able to show a side that people don't usually see.
I'm truly grateful to all of you who came from even great distances through the frigid cold. Thank you very much.

To Starchild, King Record, and all the concert staff members, thank you for your hard work. And most of all, thank you to all the fans for your support. Finally, to Yonekura Chihiro-sama: Best of luck to both of us in the future! I hope we can continue our friendship forever!

dazzle Released

The first and last r.o.r/s album "dazzle" was released today. It is for me a fitting end to the year 2003 and a wonderful accomplishment.
Although I decided from the outset that I would ignore all the small details and just barrel through this year, I think I've nevertheless gained some very valuable things.
This album, too, is a diary of my heart and mind.
Now I'm preparing for the concert, which means a good round of heavy rotation!!
A lot of the fans are also listening endlessly to the songs "for practice," aren't they!

It's Christmas Eve today... Well, strictly speaking, it's already turned the 25th... I love to plan things out, so around this time of year I'm traveling and doing many different things, but this year we have the last concert for r.o.r/s scheduled for the 27th, so I'm furiously practicing for it....
Well, this isn't so bad once in a while.
Is everyone having a good time???
You definitely should be having fun!! It seems I've been full of worries lately, but since things can't change overnight, I think it might be best to just relax a little bit.
On the holiest of nights, at the very least.

The Premium Live Was Today.

We held the Premium Live today. It was a solo live but Yonekura Chihiro-chan, Kageyama Hironobu-san, and Takahashi Naozumi-san were kind enough to appear as guests! We had a good time. (*^^*)
We received a lot of support from the Animelomix staff, too, so we had fun even up to the very last moment.
To all of the rest of the staff, too, thank you for your hard work.
And, most of all, to everyone who came (including those who were kind enough to purchase my single) and to all the band members, thank you for all your hard work!!! It was fun......

But you know, the band members were so calm and composed and their voices were kind of quiet, so all you can hear is me making a racket in the background (><) !!

Rehearsal Today

2003/12/17

With the recording sessions for the album barely finished, we had a rehearsal today for the concert on the 21st.
As in the school festival, we had the band here playing, too, and well... it was really amazing! We're just playing quickly through and working out the order of the songs, so now I feel a little light-headed and anemic. (-o-) I'll just keep plowing onward.

Oh, What a Fright!

It feels like the sirens of ambulances, fire engines, and patrol cars can be heard everywhere at the end of the year. I guess it means there are just more of them than at other times. I've been furiously thinking of the reason, but I still don't know. There are even posters in my apartment complex that say, "Don't get caught by fraud!"
The world feels like a very dangerous place.
Everyone, please be careful! I'll be careful, too!

New Album "ReBirth"

We've completed work on the "ReBirth" album to be released February 4, 2004. I went today to make the final touches.
All that's left is to wait for printing...
Oh! I have the work on the jacket, too!
For the booklet of last year's album we included a lot of new concepts, but I wonder how this new one will turn out....
I'm looking forward to the final product. (^-^)

I have no luck at the lottery, and if I signed up for someone else's concert I probably wouldn't win....

2 in the Morning

Yesterday (the 7th) was the concert of fellow JAM member Endo Masaaki-san! Since it was to commemorate the release of his first album, plenty of guests came to join the fun.
I also sang the chorus for one song.
Hm. (^^) En-chan's concert really showcased his personality well. Well, so afterwards... things finished up, of course, and I went home at 2 in the morning (which was early compared to yesterday).

Also, today we had our first dance rehearsal for the upcoming r.o.r/s concert.

Out All Night...... |(-o-)|

2003/12/07

Today (yesterday) was the live recording of RADIO Animelomix. Well... everyone cheered so loudly, didn't they!
I sang with some dancers for the first time in a long while (3 songs + PURE) and played some ringtones on the cellphones of everyone in the hall... and we got to make a wonderful piece of harmony.
I think this day couldn't have been possible without the work of both the audience and the people on stage. Anyway, it's almost 5 in the morning, so I'll go sleep.......

Tomorrow

2003/12/05

...is the public live recording for "RADIO Animelomix"! It will be held in a very large, very pretty concert hall. I'm planning to sing a few songs (SECOND IMPACT definitely included!).
So, today I was practicing my choreography for tomorrow.
Um... the results are okay.

I had the privilege of appearing as a guest on Toukai Radio's "TOKYO UPSIDE STATION" today. I had so many things to say (my live tour, r.o.r/s, my single, and so forth) that I started tripping over all my words. (T-T)
Also, I received a postcard! What was it, you ask? Well.... it was a correspondence to "KISS3", the program that I and Youko-chan host, but the address on the postcard is not the one Youko-chan announces every week as the address for King Record or KISS3's mailing address... I wonder why? It was forwarded to Toukai Radio.
Hm... it worries me; usually a mistake like this doesn't happen... It's a sad event for the person who took all the time to write, isn't it... So, for you who are reading this, please do be careful!

Big Camera stopped playing my PV before I could see it...
Sigh... big great sigh (the weather's looking a little rainy, too).
But, you know what! I know the real point of showing the PV wasn't for my own gain, so I could go there and secretly have fun watching it.
The purpose of it was so that the guests who came into the store could catch sight of it and maybe surprise them a bit, and so all the fans could go there and secretly(?) watch it, without a doubt... oh, but you don't have to be secretive about it, of course, right!?
