Album Recording Today

2003/11/28

Recording for the new album slated for release on Feb. 4 of next year is going along smoothly. (*^^*)
In addition to band member Monta-kun, ikuo-san and Macaroni-kun will be writing songs for this album (and performing too, of course), so I feel very good about it.
As I record the songs, I keep thinking about how great the final product will be... Hehehe!
So, at Big Camera's TV Corner (store name) they're playing my "SECOND IMPACT" PV, but it's going to end soon.....! I haven't gone by to see it yet.... (Have you seen it?)
I'm going to go! Since I definitely want to see it.

There are some of you who've bought multiple copies of the CD (for the entry tickets to the premium live concert?) so.... thank you so much, I'm very grateful as always.
And, today we had dancing rehearsal for "Seco-Im."
This is for the "RADIO Animelomix" public recording session that's coming up! I'll be appearing with some dancers.

Back from an All-Nighter

2003/11/24

After the Musashi Institute of Technology (MI-TECH Fest) concert ended today, I wrapped things up (there was a 2nd after-party) and went home.
First of all, to everyone who came, the staff, the festival planning committee, and everyone else, thank you for all your hard work. This was my first concert in a long while, plus we had a new band member. I was really anxious beforehand, but I think we were able to hold a really wonderful concert.
I really like our band members. I love rock music, so I feel like a fan of the band myself. I'm very proud of all the fans out there, I'm proud of my band, and I'm proud of my staff (since they're all really good people there in the staff...). With today coming to a close, I've come to feel even more devoted to being a music artist. Thank you all very much.

Oh, Good Weather

Though it seems a bit cold, thank goodness it's not raining.
I'm going to take a shower soon, and after that, I'll summon my super-energy spirit!
So, I'll see you all at Musashi Institute of Tech!!

P.S - I ended up taping the JAM concert on video so I can watch it after I get back home. Speaking of JAM... Rica-chan's band is holding a concert today, too! (It'll be in the evening, though, so it won't conflict with the school festival (^^)v)

The school festival is already tomorrow.
I wonder how the weather will be... I hope it will be as sunny as it was today (the sunshine bug's been visiting a lot lately).
Tonight (tomorrow morning?), JAM's Shibuya concert will be airing on television. I just hope that, if I watch it, it won't still be sticking with me tomorrow (T_T).
Um... in any case, those of you were are coming tomorrow, come with a lot of energy! (^oo^)/

Um...... I got out some really great lyrics.... (self-praise)
Today I had interviews for r.o.r/s and my solo work around noon, and after I got home I worked non-stop on writing lyrics. I managed to write some really great lyrics! I want you guys to hear it soon!!
Oh, I haven't recorded the song yet, though.
First, everyone can hear "SECOND IMPACT" and watch me being silly on "V-mode", right?

School Festival Rehearsal Ends!

Well.... rehearsal finished. After I got home, I headed straight for my futon because I was a little out of it, so I didn't get to write in my diary... (T-T)
My days have been pretty busy, as usual....
A new single's coming out soon, plus the r.o.r/s album and the JAM DVD are all about to be released, so there's some press coverage, too...
BUT! I'll get through it usin' willpowah, yea!! (<--Super Kansai Person)

r.o.r/s Recording Ends!

Today, recording for r.o.r/s ended!!
Chihii and I went out to eat afterward, and we told each other how sad we were that it was finished.
We sang a lot and talked a lot today, as usual...
Though r.o.r/s has disbanded, I think we'll still get to see each other quite often.....

Oh, It's So Cold....

Tomorrow will mark the end of our recording for r.o.r/s!!
Last time I was there, I got a bit sentimental thinking, "Only one more day after this... (T-T)," but I ended that session feeling, "OK, let's do our best until the very end!"
But there's still the TD to do; besides, with the live concert coming up, I'm trying to take care of myself so I don't fall victim to this suddenly chilly weather.
The flu is really going around. Please be careful, everyone...
Oh yes!
Today, Monta-kun and newcomer Macaroni-kun's band, "Spefan", had a concert today!

Day of Repeat 1's

The month and day today are both 11's....
But it's cold and raining... Yeah, the rain was coming down in torrents, so that my car ended up looking like it has just been washed...
Let's see, last weekend I appeared as a guest on a radio show. IF you go to Hayashibara Megumi-san's webpage (the one that's on King Records) and click on the 'stereo' link in the radio room, you'll be able to read my thoughts and what kind of things we talk about.

I went to the election polls!
The reason is, after all, that as long as I'm living in Japan, I want to help make future society that is safe and easy to live in.
I considered everything in my own way and then submitted my ballot.
So I guess today had a pretty sober (?) vibe.

2003/11/08

...Anigemaster and Youko-chan's Concert!
First was Youko-chan's concert. I knew I wouldn't have time to go backstage afterwards since I had Anige today, I dropped by quickly before the event.
By the time I arrived, all the fans were already lined up. (^^)
It was interesting, since I actually recognized a few faces.
After that, I talked a bit with Youko-chan's parents backstage and took pictures with Youko-chan.
The concert was, well! There were so many people and I was at the far back, so I wasn't able to see Youko-chan at all...
I watched the concert on the video screens instead.
I was exceptionally happy when she performed the songs I'd written for her, and I remembered lots of things from when I first met Youko-chan to the present day. Anyway, it was a great success!
Youko-chan! You did a great job...
By the way, this photo is of the flowers I sent.

Then, I headed off to Anigemaster.
I was pretty nervous since it was a live broadcast....
I did my best to take part in the talk with 'Otasasa'-san and Yamamoto Maria-chan.
But, there were so many announcements (my upcoming plans, etc.) that I kind of panicked a little. (T-T) The solo single, DVD, school festival, and a little bit about my upcoming album and tour, r.o.r/s album, JAM DVD... Besides all that there are various other things going on... so, m(_ _)m. Sorry about that!
Still, radio shows are really pretty fun, aren't they?

I'll also be appearing as a guest on Chihii's Smagoh and, depending on where you live, on Megu-chan's radio show.......!!

More Recording Today

We did r.o.r/s recording today again, and since it ended early, I came home and am currently watching baseball. It's Nagashima Japan.
I usually don't watch much baseball, but there's really doing well. Right now, it's right in the 7th inning.
There seems to be a whole global community when it comes to sports or music or so on -- the world is really connected, isn't it? On that note, it'd be nice if everyone around the world came to know each other well...

Animelomix TV Commercial

Have you seen it yet??
It has an animated clip of a cell phone sticking out of someone's seat pockets.... and of course, the music in the background is my "SECOND IMPACT."
With this project going on, I'm getting more and more anxious as the release date for the CD approaches...
I think I noticed that the voice-over is done by Hayashibara Megumi-san. I'm very happy; this is the first time we've worked together like this.
I've also gotten to meet people in many ways, too. (^-^) I'll be diving into this month with the public recording session of "RADIO Animelomix" and the school festival, plus the Premium Live and so on; I'll be going all out and pleeeeeaaaase do take a look!

Also, instructions on how to sign up to attend the "RADIO Animelomix" public recording are posted here! The deadline is Nov. 17.

Advanced Ticket Sales on Tomorrow's KISS Cube

Thanks to everyone's help, "KISS Cube" has been getting a lot more calls and activity. For our broadcast tomorrow (Nov. 2), we'll be arranging advanced ticket sales for the Nagoya portion of the "Okui Masami ~okui,masami~ spring tour 2004 'Rebirth'" (at Nagoya's Club Quattro - Sun, Feb. 22).
